Bowser is set to party on Canada Day

The Bowser festivities are expanding this Canada Day with the traditional activities plus a car show.

The national birthday runs 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Legion with kids? activities including face painting, cotton candy, hay rides by tractor, a fishing game and others.

The Arrowsmith Pipe Band will play around 1:30 and Jessica Kelly will sing O Canada and a few others, with the formal cup cake ?cutting? a bit later, at 3 p.m.

The Ladies Auxilary will run a barbecue and Dave Marco will? perform.
